I understand that you may have questions, so below I have listed a number of FAQs to help out.If there’s anything you have on your mind that is not listed here, or is not detailed enough, please feel free to get in touch!
What is your photography style?
Most of the photography on your wedding day will be considered wedding photojournalism. Capturing the day as it unfolds with no interference by the photographer.I typically shadow the couple as closely as possible and also behind-the-scene moments and emotions that occur spontaneously. These make the best wedding memories. I aim for a simple, classic look, that captures the emotions shared throughout the day. When working with the bride and groom, the wedding party and family formals, the emphasis shifts to more of an casual portrait approach for which I give direction and set the scene to an extent.
Where are you based?
I am from Chandigarh and I’m based in New Delhi . My time is split between both these places.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I love to travel all over India and abroad.
What about travel and accommodation?
If the wedding location is not in Delhi/Chandigarh then the travel and accommodation shall be provided by the client.
Do you offer engagement portraits?
Of course!! Many couple have never been in front of a professional photographer and might have their reservations. Therefore the engagement session is a great way for us to go out for an hour and have some fun. When the big day comes around you will have already spent time with me. Lots of my couples have used the photographs for their signature board on their wedding day, for their guests to sign.
How many hours a day will you shoot?
A: Indian weddings don’t run as per a schedule (though there always is one!) and things do tend to over schedule at times. I do not believe in setting a limit on the number of hours I will be available to you during a wedding.Typically the wedding day coverage starts from early morning ceremonies till the vidai .So I cover the haldi ceremony and then meet the bride or the groom for getting ready shots and then the wedding ceremony.I strongly recommend my clients to push the families to be on time as an off-schedule wedding leaves less scope for creativity – and human endurance does play a factor here.
How many wedding pictures do you typically provide per wedding?
The photos are manually selected, colour corrected, juxtaposed to tell a story if needed and marked for final delivery. On average, I deliver between 400-600 images from a two day wedding, and between 500-800 images from a three day wedding (and so on…). This will be more than sufficient for you to relive your wedding, frame by frame.
What about wedding albums? Do you provide those?
A: Yes! I like to keep my album design’s simple and fresh. I feel they will never become dated using this approach. Lots of couples find it hard to choose photos for their album, simply because there are lots of photos to choose from. I can design a full album from scratch to make it easy for you. Or you can provide me with your photo choices, and I will design the album. I ALWAYS send a digital draft of the album to you for approval before going to print.
Are the prices negotiable?
I totally agree that you have a zillion things to pay for in a wedding, be it your attire, venue ,etc .However premium photography is one of the most important service you hire to document everything you’ve spent on and I can’t even begin to start justifying the effort it takes to deliver quality photos.. Quite obvious we do not love to negotiate on the price points.
We love your work and want to book you, how do we go about this?
That’s fab, I use a simple system, fill out the booking form, I’ll then send you an invoice, there is a 50% booking fee payable at the time of booking to secure the date. You will be asked to sign a contract, this is all done online so you will have time to read it through it and get it back to me in your own time.
What are your packages and prices?
